Rose’s Block Set

Crafted from solid mahogany and black walnut, this elegant set of building blocks contains 41 pieces in 9 different shapes. The case displays the block layout in gold pearlescent ink for easy packing, and the oversized handles, featuring walnut marquetry and brass dowels, double as balconies for the constructed castle. This set is embellished with a hand-carved rose and includes 8 lathe-turned characters, each produced from a different species of wood. The whole set has a wonderfully soft feel after being sanded to a high grit and finished with a gentle formula of beeswax, raw linseed oil, raw tung oil and castile soap.
